Kimberly Kelstone
Interpreter / Interpreter Coordinator

Kimberly Kelstone has supported DDW since it's humble beginnings. She has been a Sign Language Interpreter for over 20 years, working in a wide variety of fields, including medical, performing arts, and non-profit organizations. Nationally certified for over 15 years, she is the immediate past president of the Genesee Valley Region Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, and currently serves the interpreting profession on a national committee. Also, Kimberly is the staff interpreter with the National Center for Deaf Health Research, where she provides interpretation, coordination of access services and support for a variety of public health research efforts partnered with the Deaf community. She is involved in research and presents locally, regionally and nationally on topics relavent to interpreters.

She embraces change, travel, good food, meeting new people and the challenges that life throws. Currently she is in the process of changing careers - with the ultimate goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Orginally from NJ, she currently resides in the Rochester, NY area with her husband and 2 beautiful boys on their 5 acre handmade homestead.
