Your goal is to raise $200. Our goal is to recruit 100 hosts.
Together we will collect over $20,000 for various DDW projects.

We want to keep this low-key, stress-free, and easy to plan for everyone. You can invite a handful of friends over for a potluck dinner or gather at your local community center to show Discovering: Shuktara and share more information about DDW.

For your convenience, DDW will provide you with a “host kit” including:

In addition, DDW will mail you three copies of
the film - one for the film screening, which is
yours to keep, and two to be given away as
door prizes to your guests and several DDW brochures ‐to distribute to your guests.

A cover letter - to explain host kit contents
A summary of DDW and Discovering: Shuktara - to help you clearly explain DDW’s purpose and objectives;
Event Hosting Suggestions - to get you started on planning the event;
A promotional flyer ‐ to help you advertise the event to friends, family and co-workers
Ads for DDW Journeys and DDW’s Monthly Giving Program - for those who want to get more involved with DDW
A DDW electronic newsletter sign up sheet – to recruit new subscribers who wish to keep updated on what’s happening in Deaf communities around the world;
A feedback form – to help us improve!
